118. Marking a Centerline for the Skeg

The skeg, while small, is essential for tracking while rowing and towing. It's easy to find the centerline of the boat thanks to the mortises for the centerline stringer. Mark a centerline, and then add alignment marks you can see once the skeg is positioned. Note that the epoxy has been sanded to give the glue on the skeg something to grab hold of.
