Once the skeg has cured, apply a good-sized epoxy fillet to strengthen the skeg. It will endure a lifetime of battering and wear.
Before the epoxy fillets have cured, we smooth them with a gloved finger dipped in denatured alcohol.
The result is a perfectly smooth fillet!
