Question for other MC 16.5 paddlers: What length paddles are you using? I bought a pair of 230cm paddles. I have an inflatable kayak and a 225cm paddle for it which is really just barely long enough. I was really torn between a 230cm or a 240cm paddle. I'm 5'10", my wife is 5'6" and the MC 16.5 is 33" wide. If I place the 230cm paddle in the vertical position, I can barely reach the tip with my fingertips.

I am 5'10" and use a 240cm, my wife uses a 230cm. I find I need the extra length for the 33" wide beam on the MC 16.5.
