Chester Yawl a couple of questions
I have a couple of questions in regards to the Chester Yawl. Can this be outfitted with a small motor? If so has anyone done this and what size? Or what about a sail?
Also, is there an estimate on how long of a build this craft would be? I know that is a subjective question, but just looking for a rough estimate.
Thanks

I have a question...
What is the maximum hp the Chester Yawl can take? I have a Torqueedo 1003 and it works great. Its about 3 to 4 hp equivalent. I hope to be able to use it on the Chester Yawl when I don't feel like rowing.

I happen to be building a yawl right now - I'm about halfway done. CLC estimates that this project should take ~130 hours. In the instruction manual they give estimated times for each step. I can tell you that my actual times have very nearly matched their estimates at every step.

I use our Chester Yawl here on Lake Starnberg, Bavaria with a Torqeedo 800.
With an extra battery it takes me to every beergarden on the lake and back.
