Comfy WoodDuck seating--new product suggestion
I just tried a Therm-a-Rest "Trekker Chair" in my Wood Duck 12 the Ugly Duckling. Its a shell or slip cover of nylon, with fiberglass stiffening rods. Insert a half-inflated camping air mattress (I use one for my Hennesee hammock) and it becomes a comfortable chair. It fits neatly in the Wood Duck cockpit. Another virtue: emergency life raft and/or paddle flotation for kayak reentry. They are roughly $30. If you don't already have an inflatable camping mattress that's another $30. http://www.thefind.com/sports/info-trekker-chair. I think Mr. Harris should consider teaming with Therm-a-rest folks and offering their product. VERY comfortable, and those of a certain age appreciate lower back support.
