CLC is now selling Nick Schade's Ganymede. This is the perfect boat for first-time builders and new paddlers. I helped my adult daughter build one last year and we are both delighted with the result. It is fast, comfortable, tracks well, and steers easily. Despite CLC's comment, this boat has high initial stability. It should be used only in relatively protected waters, though.
