I was adding a fresh couple of coats to varnish before the humidity gets here. I was on my last coat and in the poor lighting in my garage, I missed a small section. I'm using Schooner and after 3hrs, it is now dry enough to touch. Can I touch up this spot or is it better to hit the whole section with some 220 or 320 and do it again?

RE: Missed a Spot in my Varnish
George, that is exactly what I did. Thursday morning, I lightly sanded the area with 320 and then varnished over it with some slightly thinned Schooner. I went to the airport for NY and last night it looked great. Problem solved.

It's almost impossible to blend in a spot of varnish, better to 320 the whole section and varnish it all.
