Wood Duck Double Stern-Deck joint
Hi all,
I finally finished stiching the deck to the hull last night when to my shock I found a 8mm gap between the deck and the stern V-plate.
Any ideas on how to close it up or fill it in?
Any and all ieas welcome.
Regards
Fernando

Hi Lazlo,
Sorry, I didn´t make it very clear.
Its not the transom that is too low, its the deck that does not reach the transom.

Fernando,
Sounds like the transom is sitting too low because the sides are not tight enough on the bottom. Loosen the stitches and squeeze the sides in on the bottom. You might have to adjust your bevels to do this. That should push up on your transom and close the gap.
This kind of adjustment is normal, nothing to worry about.
Good luck,
Laszlo
