Attaching inspection covers on Skerry
The covers come without any kind of fasteners. I'm thinking short brass woodscrews along with marine silicone seal. Any better ideas?

Thanks, I ended up using #8 x 1/2" brass screws and the marine sealant. Great idea about the large yogurt containers. I had planned to just leave the covers loose, but then would probably forget to tighten them before using the boat. This way it will be obvious. I think I'll just punch a few small holes in the container bottoms.

I've used small stainless steel screws (I think they were #8 x 1/2") and marine sealant (3M 5200). No problems so far. Also, the large yogurt containers fit snuggly inside the port - I've used them as covers during storage with screen covered holes cut in to allow air circulation.
