Interested in building a small sailboat, need help picking
Well I'm new to boat building, and I like easy but I love sailboat's. What would be a good small boat to build (first time builder - moderate skills)? Any help would be appreciated. Right now I'm regulated to a hobie adventure sail kayak, but I want something that can handle my wife and 7 year old daughter for a day sail? Thanks for your suggestions.

The Northeaster Dory is a great first boat to build and perfect for a daysail with the family. The Skerry and Jimmy Skiff are also good choices. I'd go with the Dory if it were me.
