Dremel Multimax Recommendation

Couple of years ago got a Dremel Multimax for Father's Day. It worked great for a bathroom remodeling.

In the midst of a Chester Yawl build, I have found many uses for this relatively inexpensive tool, especially for an inexperienced builder.

The fact that the attachments work flush with planks, etc. allows it to do jobs other tools can't.

Examples:

Rigid scraper blade takes down epoxy runs quickly.

Triangle shaped sander fits in corners and other hard to reach spots.

Metal saw blade takes wires down flush with the wood surface.

And, no, I don't work for Dremel, but have been a fan since I bought a hobby tool  for my son 28 years ago.  I still use it!

RE: Dremel Multimax Recommendation

I should get a multi-tool, but another one that I found handy was a (Dremmel-like) rotary tool. On my first build, a few fillets were a bit lumpy. The rotary tool worked well to grind off the high spots. I'll do better next time around!

Love my dremel. Lives full time on my work bench. Great for shaping those mean little whiskey strips but watch your fingers
