I'm in the homestretch with my Kaholo and am almost ready to install a deck plate. I'm using the drill/fill/drill method for added water protection, but I'm wondering about the that final drilling.
Any thoughts on using coarse versus fine threaded screws here? Not much material to bite into here, and I'm not sure how the epoxy plug will react.
Thanks,
Patrick

Terrific, thanks Hickory. That is what I have on hand- just didn't want to trip two steps before the finish line!

I used #8 wood screws (marine bronze). They worked just fine in the epoxy bed- they gave the sense they were there to stayfor the duration.
