Anyone recognize this old boat?
Hey,
Anyone have a clue what this could be?
http://i42.tinypic.com/25pu88x.jpg
Some minimal info:
appears to have been last registered in Ohio 1979,
skin (canvas) on frame,
about 14 feet,
found in she'd by new home owner,
has H.I.N., (Ohio),
has rub rail on bottom on keel,
Just thought I'd ask if you have seen something like this?
Thanks,
Chris F

Canvas covered duck boat, I'm pretty sure. There was a very similar one featured in the "Re-Launchings" section of a WoodenBoat Magazine issue, I think in late 2011, IIRC. I can check for the exact month when I get home from work tonight.

Now that I have the actual magazine in front of me, I REALLY think it's an old canvas-covered duck boat, just like the one on page 93 of WoodenBoat No. 219, March/April 2011.

If the interior frames seem removable, it could be a klepper Folboat.
