I don't quite understand the question. We did everything on the Wood Ducks to chapter and verse of the manuals. (Though the chapters and verses were definitely done out of order.)
I wonder if you saw the fiberglass tape spread out on the exterior of the hull while we were measuring it to length, prior to rolling it out on the interior hull-to-deck seam.
