I have begun completing the sailing rig.  The manual states:  Taper : 1 inch taper out to 20" on three sides.

Three sides... bottom and both sides?

When I lay it out on the boom and yard 20 inches is not a very gradual taper and removes little weight.

Wonder what others have done on the Lug rig. Photos etc. would be helpfull.
