I used Behlen's Solar-Lux "Cordovan Mahogany" stain. I first stripped up and sanded the deck and hull. I then stained and glassed the outside of both. With one layer of glass on the outside of the hull I added a very thin light colored strip along the top edge of the sheer. I just taped it in place with masking tape. I then proceeded to glassing the inside. After I taped the inside seam, I went back and added a second layer of glass to the outside of the hull, overlapping the sheer by about 1 inch onto the deck.
