refinishing carbon sculling oars
I received 2 pairs of used carbon sculling oars. Overall, they are in usable condition but are scuffed up in several areas and don't have the glossy finish of my new oars.
I was wondering how I could refinish them to improve their appearance. I assume I would lightly sand them to remove dirt and then clear coat them, but what type of clear coat?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice!

I gather a bunch of little projects together and spray them with this stuff:

(can be found on ebay as well)
One can should put two coats on. The stuff goes off in the can within 48 hours of activating.
