I'm starting my install of the deck forms for my Shearwater 17. From what I've tried so far, this is going to be a PITA. I wedge in one form, get it perdendicular to the keel line and then start the next. When pushing in the next form it tends to spread the hull just enough to dislodge the previous form. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there is a trick to this. The directions say to hot glue when all forms are in and properly placed.
Anyone else have this issue? Solutions?
Thanks,
Mike

If you have bar clamps, you may try lightly clamping the ones you've put in to prevent them from moving, otherwise, put a spring clamp in front and behind the form on each side to hold it in place - you'll be clamping the hull, but the side of the clamp will be right up against the form.
