Afternoon,
I'm in the process of getting everything lined up to build a Chesapeake 18 and I'd like to personalize it with a diagram on each side of the bow. I've read that it is possible to print on rice paper, and before the fiberglass is applied the rice paper print is epoxyed to the wood.
Then the fiberglass is applied and you proceed as normal.
Has anyone done this? Suggestions etc?

RE: decals
Are you going to use Laszlo's duck too?
Sorry, had to throw that one in there...
I'm going to be using this process on something in the near future, whether it's a CLC boat or a couple of longboards for my wife and I. Very cool concept!
RE: decals
I don't mind. In fact, it'd be fun if it became the class emblem. Meybe even part of the Wood Duck T-shirt that CLC keeps promising. I'm just wondering who it is.
Laszlo
RE: decals
No duck for me, thinking more of a wolf head at the bow. Found this place on the interwebs... http://www.boardlams.com/
