Maiden Voyage of the "Clarkwood"
After the build the "Clarkwood", the Northeaster Dory, is finally wet. I started building during the Boat Class during the week of April 6th 2015. It has taken me about 9 weeks to build.
The crew is ready. We are under way and sailing is great at Codorus State Park in Pennsylvania. During a series of unfortunate events, we brought the paddles out (oars are backordered) and we headed back to port. Sailing lessons before next outing is a must.

Drew, the "unfortunate events" notwithstanding, she looks to be a beauty. There are plenty of paint schemes that I've thought looked great but I'm particulary fond of that natural wood finish, the "Clarkwood finish", I presume. Congratulations! Lots of fun days ahead, starting with those lessons.
