Anyone mounted one of the sail rigs from KayakSailor? With what results? Other recommendations for a kayak sail rig that can perform upwind to some extent?

Thanks for the confirmation. I just ordered the 1.4 rig, and it seems easy enough to add the Genoa kit, which doesn't cost much. I don't have a rudder on my MIll Creek 13, so I'll start by using a paddle for a rudder and see how that works. I did buy a Greenland style paddle online, and it's a thing of beauty. Let's see how it works.

Yes Dave on a Wood Duck 12.Works great, points upwind very good.I suggest installing the largest rudder(double kayak) that you can get. I used a SeaLect brand rudder system and it was way to small for the job. I also am using the Genoa kit witch helps upwind sailing.
