�I am making oars with sitka spruce shafts and 4mm okoume blades. The plans are for 7.5 ft overall length with 6 inch wide x 21 inch long blades. My build will be 8.5 ft overall length. I am considering 6 x 24 inch blades, I will use these on my N.E. Dory. Does anyone have suggestions on oar blade dimensions for this application?
