boat choice for smaller paddler

After completing my shearwater 16 last summer, my girlfriend wants a wood boat (good!)

but after looking over the catalogue, i think i want to build a strip boat for her. she is 5' and 115lbs, she is pretty small. i was looking at the guillemont play or "S" but the write up says the play does not track as well as some of the others. any suggestions?

i could build her a shearwater 14, or chesapeake 14, but i want to build a strip (yes i know someone will say build a hybrid)...

any thoughts?
