For various reasons I'm keen to get a MAS technical datasheet. I've looked at their website but I can't seem to locate one for the resin and harderner I got from CLC. Any leads?

RE: MAS TDS
Thanks for the reply, however I could not find it. I'm interested in comparing properties such as glass transition temperature, compressive and flexural strength, and such things. I did see some of that on the JD site, but there should be a PDF somewhere with all I'd like to know. At least I have a copy of this for all the epoxies we use in the lab. The temperature at which the uncured products crystalize would be nice to know as well.
RE: MAS TDS
We have MSDS sheets on hand for every chemical we sell. Just shoot an email to [email protected] and let him know which poisons you need the technical data on.
RE: MAS TDS
Thank you for your help. However there is a difference between a Manufacturer Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or SDS and a Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
Here is a link to a TDS: http://research.physics.illinois.edu/bezryadin/labprotocol/stycast2850.pdf
Here is an MSDS:

The adjective is important. I can surely finish the boat without the TDS, although I still think it would be nice/useful to have a look at one. I'll email Brian.
RE: MAS TDS
Well, at least one of MAS' FAQs speaks to the Tg:
But, they are a bit thin on their online tech data. Direct correspondence will probably get you some of the info, but they don't target the higher tech markets of aerospace and other extreme applications. I've even had trouble getting data from some of the aero suppliers of composite supplies (ground based aircraft test systems are my thing) unless we signed an NDA with them.
RE: MAS TDS
Mr. Griggs,
No offense, but a MSDS is a Material Safety Data Sheet.
I agree that there is a difference between that and a TDS, as one deals with safe handling, chemical interactions and storage requirements, while the other with the actual use of the product.

If you go to the Jamestown Distributors website you will find tech info, tips and how to' for MAS and most other products they sell.
