Screws through hull - Jimmy Skiff
A quick question for you experts: The plans for the Jimmy Skiff call for securing the seat cleats as well as the daggerboard trunk with screws through the hull. Looking at pictures of completed boats, I don't see the heads to any screws. Are the screws removed after the glue cures? Are the screws inserted from the inside of the hull and then ground flush on the outside? Are the heads left exposed on the bottom and sides of the hull?
Thanks!

Generally, you counter sink the screws from the outside, then fill the hole with wood flower and epoxy.
