Working on my strip built deck, I have tried several methods of holding strips while glueing. I have used bar clamps, spring clamps with the wood holders, and tape. But I have just found something new (to me) at Rockler that seems tailor made for this application. They are called bandy clamps and come in 3 sizes. I have the medium.  Large would also work, but not the small.
