You might have some problems with that. Both are supposed to be at the same position relative to the sail's center of effort, but a leeboard needs to be at the boat's widest beam.If you look at the image below, the widest beam is back behind the seat and the centerboard is in front of the seat. So it looks as if the leeboard would be too far behind the sail's center of effort.
