Passagemaker Plans Build - Skid Dimensions
Hey folks,
I've looked a couple of times and I can't seem to find the dimensions of the skids for the bottom of my PM. I'm actually planning on laminating several strips of 6mm plywood, soak them with CPES once formed, surround them with large fillets and possibly glass over them before applying graphite epoxy. I figure I can use the actual bottom as the form for the lamination. This should hopefully simpify the attachment process since I'm doing this by myself. But first, I have to cut the strips from the plywood on the table saw.
Thanks

Thanks, Pippy! It totally does. I was about to just scale up the EP skids I made to the PM boat length. This gives me much better info. I'm also going to super-size them for better coverage on these PNW beaches.

Well, the skid pieces included in my PMD kit are 3/4" x 1/2" x 41"...
Does that help?
