plywood shortage?

Hi everyone,

I stopped by a local plywood supplier today and was told there's a two month wait for 4mm oakume because they're reformulating the glues to comply with the California Air Resourse Board standards. Anyone else run into this? Just curious.

I stopped by my new favorite shop - McCormick's Lumber in Madison - to pickup the plywood for the Kaholo I'm building.

They were out of Okume as well, but it also sounded like they are not going to stock it any longer because of some huge price increases. They stock meranti (sp?) now. So my Kaholo will be a bit darker and a bit heavier.....
