Comfort seating in Northeastern Dory
I am building the Dory this spring. I would like my passanger to be as comfortable as possible. Not sure if sitting on a thawart or the bottom of the hull makes for a plesant 3 or 4 hours.
CLC shows the Creature Comfort Seat. If placed in the bottom of the boat would this work? Any other suggestions.

The nice thing about the dory is that you don't have to stay seated all the time. You can stand up -- I even sail standing in light air -- or take a great variety of seated positions. The thwart is the most comfortable of those. You can make it more comfortable with something as simple (and versatile) as a Coleman Stadium Seat.
