how long should I wait for paint to dry before I wet sand between coats of paint.

what mark said above. read the label and use that as a guide.
that said, it also is a function of your application skills. these paints are meant to be applied in thin coats and thick coats will take longer to be ready to be sanded and overcoated.
the paints are relatively sensitive to the importance of being 'dry'. so wet over wet creates a mess pretty quick....so if you are just starting out....some extra time to ensure its dry is worth it.

Thanks, I am brushing the paint on generaly thin coat but I am sure with some thicker spots. I am painting the outside of NED minus the transome and gunwales, and have used about 1/3 of a quart can sofar. I will wait till I am sure it is dry before I wet sand for the secound coat.

Depends on the paint and on the temp. They ususally list times on the back of the paint can.
