Trailering An Oxford Mk I Scull

I have an Oxford Mk 1 Shell I purchased last year from the 2nd owner.  I'd like to trailer her on a trailer that I acquired when I bought my NE Dory.  Either boat is supported on two bunks each about 6" wide & covered in carpet.  The Oxford rests well on the bunks for the length of the cockpit, then her slight rocker lifts her away from the bunks.  I strap her to the trailer with two cam straps passing through foam blocks notched to fit the coaming.

The trailer has a single leaf on each side, but is still sprung for a heavier load than either boat.  I'm not worried about the NE Dory as it's quite robust and contacts the bunks for a greater distance.  But the Oxford bounces noticeably on the trailer on any slight bumps in the road or irregularities of pavement.

Should I worry about this?  When standing along side the trailer loaded with the Oxford and bouncing the boat by hand she seems so light that it feels harmless.  But when I'm driving an looking in the rearview mirror the motion looks potentially harmful.  Any thoughts?
