Shearwater 17 Hybrid

I am at the stage of preparing the hull to accept the deck and I am struggling to remove the hot glue from the inside of the hull that held the forms in place. 

Also, I used packing tape as a barrier to prevent gluing deck strips to the hull while strippping the deck, which has left an adhesive residue that I want to remove.

Any advice on best ways to remove the hot glue and packing tape adhesive residue ?
