sass12 completed with new higher backband from CLC and cane seat cut down from CLC SAS16 kit seat. Custom inlay of Celtic Knott from CLC.

I built this for my daughter in Maine. She is enjoyinging very much, and likes the light weight- about 28lbs- for loading and carrying to the water. Too bad it gets cold there so soon.

That is a seriously pretty boat. That picture of your daughter enjoying her present could just about be CLC ad copy. The fit between boat and boater looks perfect. Well done.

Very nice. Your daughter is very lucky.

A couple of questions about the padeyes.... Are they screwed into the deck only? Or is there some type of wooden block beneath the deck to increase the thickness for the screws?
