First Time Builder epoxy question
My son and I are building an Annapolis Wherry. I have no experience with epoxy but after all the research on the site here, we seem to be progressing pretty well.
On our first few puzzle joints in the strakes, we got a little carried away with the epoxy. To be honest, I can't blame all of the extra epoxy on my son! :-)
So to the point, I have sanded down the joints to get of the bulk of the epoxy with no shiney areas left but the wood around the joints where the epoxy used to be is a bit darker. Will this blend in during the later stages when we seal with epoxy?
Thanks
JayC

Phew, thanks for the info. The posts about over doing it kept the sanding in check.
I'll be stitching this weekend!

If it's darker because of the epoxy soaking in, yes. If it's darker because you sanded through the top veneer into a drker one underneath, no.
