Found this post somewhere and the idea looked very interesting.
Has anyone tried this procedure of coating the fresh epoxy with a layer of plastic to smooth out the effect of the glass telegraphing through the epoxy?
Very interesting idea, but I do not want to go where no clc builder has gone before.

CLC sells West Systems Peel Ply, which does the same thing, but allows the excess epoxy to escape through the fabric. I haven't tried it yet, but will this weekend. The plastic leaves a smoother finish, but may trap more epoxy than you need. -Wes
