Hey all- I just put my first coat of varnish on my westriver. I stepped back to admire it and noticed a run. It's still wet and I thought about hitting the run with my brush, but it seems that waiting for it to dry and sanding it off may be the better option. Not sure though... Any advice?

RE: varnish run
I have found the using a scraper is better than sanding. The scraper allows you to remove the high-points of the run without removing the low-points around it making it worse.
After you remove most of the excess of the run, a light sanding blends it in.

Unless you get it in the first few seconds leave it be and sand later
