Six or seven weeks into Scott Mestrezat's quest to paddle the entire 2,400-mile length of the Missouri River from southwestern Montana to St. Louis on his purpose-built Kaholo 14, as we write this in late July he is taking a week off to rest and re-energize--and add some updates to his Facebook page.

He's covered more than 1,000 miles, crossed into the Dakotas, met some interesting fellow travelers, and had more than a few adventures along the way. He's even been nominated for "Expedition of the Year" by SUPthemag.com (voting is open; you can cast your ballot, too).
