99% of boat trailer stores specialize in just one thing: trailers for powerboats. Ask them for a kayak, canoe or rowboat trailer and you'll get a funny look. After endless requests, we found the perfect source for small boat trailers. Best of all, these trailers are shipped via FedEx right to your door and are quick to assemble. Trailex trailers are solid aluminum, making them easy to move around your yard. And they won't rust! The SUT-220-S single boat trailer is perfect for hauling the Annapolis Wherry, Expedition Wherry, Chester Yawl, Sassafras 16 and any single kayak up to 18' long. The trailer kit includes 8" or upgrade to 12" wheels, leaf springs, aluminum fenders, two adjustable V-bunks, Super Lube bearing caps with grease fittings (bearing buddies), running lights, dolly handle, and tag holder. This is the oldest model in the Trailex lineup, starting production in 1964. An optional Two Kayak Carrier Conversion Kit is available for the SUT-220-ST; click here for more info on this option.
Spare tire and tire carrier are available options.
SUT-220-S Specifications:
Shipping Details: Trailex kits are drop-shipped from the Trailex Factory in Ohio; shipping fees apply if picking up at our Annapolis, Maryland shop. Trailex does not ship to Canada or overseas. Canadian customers may ship to U.S. - Canada border locations with Kinek. Trailer Licensing and Registration: Most states require trailers to be licensed; please refer to your local motor vehicle administration for specific details. Each trailer is issued a Certificate of Origin by Trailex and Bill of Sale by Chesapeake Light Craft. All drop-shipped trailers will arrive before the registration paperwork. The Certificate of Origin must be sent to CLC to be signed over to the trailer's first owner. Please allow 7-10 days for paperwork to arrive. Attention Louisiana customers! It is our understanding that LA law only allows registration of in-state trailer purchases. Please check with your local laws prior to placing your trailer order. Returning a trailer would be costly, and we could not cover these costs. |
