This 1-1/2" round shipshape white padded rubrail material is just the thing for protecting rubrails on dinghies like the Eastport Pram or Passagemaker.  Unlike the old firehose stuff, the new gunnel guard is white polyester with a 3/4 round foam core, so it won't rot in the sun or mar the topsides of the mothership. Easy to fasten over the rubrails of any of our boats with screws and finish washers (not included). We have made up finished lengths with stitched ends, sized to our smallcraft.

You may use either bronze screws and brass washers or stainless steel screws and washers, whichever matches your boat.

Here's an installation diagram.  Use #8x3/4" screws and finish washers, spaced 3 inches apart, alternating top and bottom.  We ship the gunnel guard in one long length:  start at the stern, continue the guard unbroken right around the bow (or bow transom), and finish it at the stern.

Please note: when applying this product to a nesting or take-apart boat, some adjustments will be required to accommodate the take-apart function.
