Hazy Epoxy

So the epoxy in the interior of one of my boat has cured and is a bit hazy. My assumption is that this caused by microscopic air bubbles caused by the foam brush I used, but I'm curious about everyone's thoughts. I initially started using disposable foam brushed because they're cheap enough to throw away...but I've since converted to the squeegee or "trowel" method.

Any thoughts?
