These CLC hatch kits are an evolved system that eliminate webbing hold-downs for the hatches. With care, you may even use the cut-out from the hatch opening for the top of the hatch cover, so that the wood grain matches.

Flush Hatches should be installed prior to completion of the kit. Please specify kayak model when ordering. The Flush Hatch Kit Option can be used on the Sea Island Sport, Arctic Hawk, the Shearwater kayaks, the Night Heron S&G, and all Guillemot strip-planked designs.  These CLC kayaks will NOT accept the Flush Hatch Kit: North Bay, North Bay XL, Pax 18, Pax 20.

Kit includes all pre-cut Okoume plywood hatch parts, hold down hardware and instructions.

NOTE: Two hatches, forward and aft, are provided in one hatch kit.
