Sawyer Utility Oars are crafted from high-quality straight-grain Douglas Fir, a wood known for its high strength-to-weight ratio. This wooden oar is beautiful, light, and stable. Ideal for a utility tender or as auxiliary power for an outboard or sailing skiff. The shaft diameter is 1.5", with a blade length of 24" and a max blade width 5.5", sold in pairs. Shipping is free when ordered with your boat kit or sailing kit option! Available sizes:
7'6" -- for the Jimmy Skiff, Chester Yawl and the PT11 6'6" -- for the Eastport Pram/Nesting Pram and the Eastport Ultralight Leather oar collars are recommended to protect the varnished shafts of your oars. Plastic oar collars are also an option.
