First, the Faering Cruiser study plans are listed for $10.00, not $1.00. Is this deliberate?
Second, doesn't it cost more than $1.00 to process a payment? Wouldn't a free download save money for CLC over charging $1.00? Or you gonna make it up in volume? :-)

The Faering Cruiser study plans comprise eight 11x17 pages, versus two 8-1/2x11 pages for most of the $1.00 study plans.
Madness Proa (study plans $19, twenty-five 11x17 pages) and the Faering Cruiser are both major construction projects and deserve a close look at the details.

No, it's automated.
People have been begging for PDF study plans for ages, and that's certainly part of the story. (And only about half our fleet have been "PDF study-planned" so far; more to come!)
But a lot of what we're doing here is building the infrastructure to allow downloads of complete sets of plans. That won't happen overnight, but within a year or two I hope to have many of our plans offerings available via download.
