As indicated by the directions, I have two coats of epoxy on the fiberglass in the cockpit. The weave of the fiberglass is not full, is it necessary to 'fill the weave' in the cockpit area? My inclination is to leave it as is.

It's not structurally necessary, but it's easier to keep clean and it's more comfortable against bare skin if you fill it.
