Chesapeake deck edge radius for fiberglass
The book for my Chesapeake indicates that I should round the deck edges to a 3/8 inch radius to help the fiberglass adhere to the corner. I would like a tighter radius and draping dry fiberglass over the edge makes it appear the tighter radius will work. Is this a bad idea? Thanks.

Thanks again George, the glass is dry, no bubbles at all and I used a 1/8 inch radius. I used the kit's 4oz fiberglass cloth

Mike,
You're welcome. I use a smaller radius myself, especially when 4 oz cloth is being used.

If the glass is laying over the tighter radius with no problem without resin you should be fine glassing it on. Just make sure air bubbles don't form on the edge under the glass.
