Hi folks, long time since I posted, but the good news is I am approaching the end of my Skerry build. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on the amount of primer and paint needed to finish the boat? I will be painting the hull exterior and interior with exception of the seats and rails, which I intend to varnish. thanks!

RE: Primer and paint for Skerry
I was able to paint the outside of my Skerry with one quart each of Pre-Kote primer and Brightsides paint. I did two coats of primer and three of the paint.
I went through 1 and 2/3 quarts of varnish doing the interior, rails, and spars, with 4 coats.

I don't have any experience with the paint and primer, but in my NE Dory I could get three coats of Satin Varnish on the interior from a quart can. My guess is that the paint is similar in thickness
