When to attach fin box to hull in Kaholo build?
Hey all,
I'm in the midst of building a Kaholo 14 with a fin box, and I've just wired up the bulkheads to the side panels. I was about to start wiring the hull to the assembly, but while I've measured out and marked on the hull where the fin box will be mounted, I haven't actually done that yet.
Should I epoxy on the fin box on to the hull before wiring the hull onto the side panels & bulkheads? Or should I do this after everything has been wired and epoxied up?
I imagine doing it before attaching the hull in the first place will make the job much easier, but waiting until after everything has been wired and epoxy filleted in place might allow for adjusting the position slightly if needed after attaching the hull?
Any advice? What did other people do, and how did it work out?
Thanks!
