I am just starting on a Mill Creek 16.5 hybrid.  Never built from a kit before, it sure makes the hull come together quickly.  I have a couple questions about adding the CLC sail rig to my boat.

1.  Do I need to do anything additional now when building to strengthen the hull so I can add the sail rig later?

2. Rather than tape the seams inside the hull, should I glass the whole inside?  I have two dogs that will ride with me.  Will this improve wear?  Increase strength?  How much extra weight might it add?
