I'm installing the rudder hardware and note that two of the screws for the top gudgeon protrude into the tank, fully penetrating the hull.  I bedded the screws in silicon as I installed them, but hate to rely entirely on the silicon for water tightness.  Am I supposed to try to reach into the tank and cover the screw ends in peanut butter or silicon?
